EGII is at an early stage and many of the most important questions remain open. We are seeking researchers, practitioners, funders, and honest critics willing to engage seriously with the problem.
EGII is still at an early stage. The working paper is in development. The hypothesis has not yet been tested in practice.
If you work in institutional philanthropy, corporate foundations, CSR, family philanthropy, research, evidence-based giving, or public policy - or if you simply find these ideas worth discussing - I would be glad to hear your perspective.
Whether you would like to discuss the working paper, challenge the underlying assumptions, explore collaboration, or simply exchange ideas, you are warmly invited to start a conversation. EGII will become stronger through dialogue, constructive criticism, and conversations with people working across India's philanthropy ecosystem.

We are not looking for supporters of a predetermined answer. We are looking for people willing to help determine whether the question is worth pursuing at institutional scale.
If you have views on the theoretical framework, the evidence base, or the methodology, we welcome critical engagement. Constructive critique strengthens the research.
If you work in corporate foundations, CSR, family philanthropy, or grantmaking, your experience of how allocation decisions are actually made is irreplaceable input for this research.
EGII is exploring early-stage funding to support the working paper, stakeholder research, and the development of the first evidence products. If you are a funder interested in this space, we welcome a conversation.
Does India need a dedicated independent institution to translate evidence into practical guidance for institutional philanthropists? We do not know. We are trying to find out - openly, and with genuine willingness to conclude the answer is no.
We are seeking researchers, philanthropy leaders, corporate foundation professionals, CSR practitioners, funders, and honest critics. Not supporters of a predetermined answer - but people willing to help determine whether the question is worth pursuing at institutional scale.
EGII does not make funding decisions. It strengthens the evidence available before those decisions are made.
